Between 2006 and 2010 a band led by George Campling rang a series of 31 new Delight Royal methods named after the sea areas covered by the Shipping Forecast. The new methods were rung and named in the order in which these sea areas are announced in the broadcast. All the first peals were rung for the Lancashire Association at Burnley, conducted by George, 25 of the 31 being rung at the first attempt. Several of the methods have subsequently been rung at least a second time.

While a few pairs of methods are similar, for the most part the methods are widely varied, and most are of at least moderate complexity. Based on the Method Master difficulty index, the most complex of the series was the final method, South East Iceland, with a difficulty indicator of 11729. Nine others score over 6000 and only 3 under 1000. Most have good opportunities for the usual music, though a few are more idiosyncratic. Several have unusual and challenging falseness. All 12 Royal lead-end orders are represented in the collection, with c1 (2nds) and l (10ths) the most popular. 24 different above-the treble works are included, some of which were rung for the first time. The methods have been devised by George or, in some cases, Simon Woof, who has also rung in all of the peals. They form an interesting collection of methods, and will repay the efforts of any band that wishes to tackle them.

Compositions of these methods in this collection also appear in their natural, alphabetic place among the pages of individual delight methods. They are collected to here for conductors or bands that may wish to investigate them as a series.
