Between 2001 and 2008 a band lead by George Campling rang a series of peals in twenty new major methods, mostly delight, that are named after Italian wines, or in two cases Italian regions. The methods, which are generally of medium difficulty, are capable of having attractively musical compositions true to them and form an interesting and varied collection. The twenty methods feature nine of the possible twelve lead end orders and fifteen different above-the-treble works. There are two methods each with Cornwall and Uxbridge above the treble, while the others have less familiar and in one case original backwork. All the methods have been devised by George, and all the first peals in them were rung for the Lancashire Association, conducted by George. Several of these methods have subsequently attracted the attention of other bands, too.
There were three phases to the series: the first fourteen methods were rung at Burnley, ending in late 2003 when the bells were augmented to ten (and a series of new Delight Royal methods subsequently followed). The two region methods&em;Toscana and Umbria&em;were then rung at Walkden and the series was completed with four further methods rung at Heywood in 2007-8.

Compositions of the methods in this collection also appear in their natural, alphabetic place among the pages of individual delight methods. They are also all collected on this page for the convenience of bands that may wish to investigate them as a series.
